WELCOME BACK after a respite time for our Caregiver Team and Caregivers.  We hope that each of you had a lovely summer with your loved ones.  Our first meeting will focus on “Anticipatory Grief”—a topic that we like to place in the back of our minds BUT it is something that we need to address as we journey through the maze of Alzheimer’s and other dementias.  Our next meeting will be Saturday, September 20th, 2014 --11:00 am to 12:30 pm

 Now that we have a Support Group Team, we hope to better serve all caregivers and those in the early Alzheimer’s and other dementia stages. Invite your friends, neighbors and church member as we strive to help each other. Our meetings are open to everyone.

 At our October meeting, we are anticipating a Mime Group who will entertain us. We need laughter and fun in our lives which helps us to unwind and relax. Watch for our October newsletter that will highlight this event along with other interesting articles.

 You may bring your loved one with you as we will have a volunteer to entertain them during our meeting. REFRESHMENTS will be served and everything is FREE.
