The City of Cedar Hill is participating again in the DFW Solar tour, this year on Sat. Oct 7, with the Government Center open from 10 am – 12 pm. From the City Calendar: “The City of Cedar Hill is a Bronze SolSmart city, a leader in environmental protection and a partner with the DFW Solar Tour. Come visit the Cedar Hill Government Center to view the 480 panel photo-voltaic solar installation and learn about other environmental initiatives.”

There is also a carport type array at the entrance to Cedar Hill State Park, which is listed on the tour. There will not be any special tours or volunteers there, but there are explanatory signs and you will be allowed to park near the arrays without charge:
